How do you create multiple leading edge companies in a variety of markets? This is what Mohan Ananda has been doing for over the last three decades. One of his most recent ventures is taking Zoomcar into a public company via a SPAC merger combination, where he is currently Chairman of the Board. He is also the Founding Chairman and CEO, now Executive Chairman, of SecondOpinionExpert, Inc., a healthcare services and technology provider for global telemedicine. He’s also been involved in many other companies including founding Stamps.com, one of the pioneers that introduced technology allowing consumers to print postage online. The company achieved a valuation of approximately $6.6 billion in a recent acquisition by Thoma Bravo.

He obtained his PhD in Astro-dynamics and Control from UCLA, and MS in Aeronautics from California Institute of Technology and BE in Mechanical Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, India. He is also the CEO of Ananda Foundation, Inc. (a US charitable foundation), the Managing Director of Achuthan Nair and Easwari Amma Charitable Trust in India, and the President of Paanini Foundation (focused on assisting employees affected by automation and AI developments). He is also involved with the Stanford Seed Transformation Program as a Seed Consultant. He has published his memoir, “Autobiography of an Immigrant,” available on Amazon, and another book for entrepreneurs “Start Small, Dream Big“, also available on Amazon.
