How do you decide if feedback is useful?

There are lots of people who happily give advice. I don’t know about you but I have certainly taken feedback to heart only to learn later that it was uniformed, had an agenda or was just plain wrong.

I asked Heather Villa, PMP, Mohan Ananda and Robert Bailey how they decided when to take feedback and when to let it pass by.

How do you decide if the feedback you are getting is valuable or not?
